Happy Tuesday! In this week's tutorial I thought it would be helpful to provide you some boudoir session preparation tips DOs AND DON'Ts LIST
BEAUTY & STYLING DOs • Find properly fitting lingerie (no squeeze! No loose!) • Shop in advance. I can suggest you some places. • Shop for your body type (ask me for info) • Buy or Borrow from best friend. • Black, Red,Jewel-toned, pastels and white lingerie work best in my studio setting. • Bring 3+ looks in a rolling suitcase or bag (unless a mini session) • Bring sexy heels. Our designer shoe closet is 7-9.5 • High heels help lift & elongate. Boots are also amazing with some looks • Simple, elegant or sentimental jewelry is great. • For a fashion-stylized look, bring 1-2 favorite, dramatic jewelry pieces. • If you are concerned about tummy, go for slightly retro-inspired lingerie, like a high-waisted panty and bralette • Bodysuits are everyone’s friend! • Get hydrated the days prior to the shoot • Get waxed or shave prior to session but not day before (to avoid bumps or rash) • Stretch your muscles before your session • Get manicure or pedicure done • Moisturize your facial and body skin well on the morning of the session • Blemishes and bruises can be removed in Photoshop • Tan lines, tattoos and major scars “may” require extra retouching for a fee BEAUTY & STYLING DON’TS • Absolutely NO Spray tanning. NO tanning bed tans. • NO Alcohol in days prior • Don’t worry if you get your period. This is common. • Don’t try to hide your body under baggy shirts & jerseys • The shoot is about YOU, not about props. • Props are welcome if very relevant to the recipient • Sparkly or oily lotions and sprays are prohibited. • DON’T be nervous … it is SO fun!

After reading your article, I've realized that it takes so many effort just to look beautiful and gorgeous in the eyes of many people. How I wish I have that thing called "natural beauty", because it's kind of expensive and tiring to look pretty. By the way, though some of the tips were quite demanding,I find all of these useful and effective. But for me, I believe that if you have enough confidence, you can consider yourself beautiful!
