My name is Violeta Brown - I"m a photographer/owner at Violeta Brown Photography. My cozy photo studio located in Spring/Woodlands TX area. I have been full time boudoir photographer for over decade. Boudoir photography was my soul’s calling. I lived for those powerful moments when a woman would see her photos and light up—truly see herself, rediscovering her beauty and falling in love with who she is. Helping women heal through my lens felt like my purpose.
But then, everything changed. Losing my mom shattered my world. Grief hit like a tidal wave—heavy, suffocating, and full of heartache, regrets, and deep depression. It clung to me like a shadow. I couldn’t pick up my camera without feeling like a fraud. How could I empower others when I was barely holding myself together? So, I stepped away. I chose healing over hiding. And healing… it wasn’t neat or graceful. It was messy, painful, and full of nights where I wondered if I’d ever feel whole again. But in that darkness, I learned to hold both love and loss. I began to rediscover the light.
Then came a turning point—when I discovered Iris Photography. The moment I saw it, I was captivated. This art form stirred something deep in me. I knew instantly: this is what I’m meant to do now. There’s something profoundly beautiful about capturing someone’s iris—their soul’s fingerprint. I thought, how incredible would it be to preserve this part of ourselves, so that even after we’re gone, our loved ones could look into our eyes and still feel connected to us?
Now, I’m back—heart open, lens ready—fueled by a renewed sense of passion and purpose.
I’m honored to create this intimate and meaningful art. Every iris I photograph tells a story. Every person who steps into my studio is a universe of memories, dreams, and depth. And I get to hold space for that.
